Toni Nuwagaba is a passionate and impact-oriented Public Health professional with a strong interest in digital health innovation, infectious disease research, and evidence-based public health solutions. She currently serves as an Associate Public Health Officer at the African Health Informatics Research Institute (AfHIRI), where she contributes to digital health research, health informatics initiatives, and capacity-building efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare systems across Africa.
Her work focuses on supporting research implementation, evidence synthesis, data interpretation, and the translation of complex health information into actionable insights for policy and practice. She is actively involved in advancing digital health solutions that improve
healthcare access, service delivery, and public health outcomes within resource-limited settings.
Toni is particularly passionate about leveraging research, technology, and innovation to address emerging public health challenges and promote sustainable, data-driven interventions across African communities.
